Linkin Park's Fifth Studio Album Release Date(Including first album Single).

Easy guys, they said they want an album each 18 months that pass, so A Thousand Suns was released in 14 september 2010 + 18 months 14 march 2012, I hope we have at least a new single at that time D;

Album hopefully soon after. Have they always released a single before an album? I thought they released albums first, and then picked some songs as singles.

 

Normally a single is released before the album to help promote it from my understanding.

 

The Catalyst came out August 2, 2010 I believe while A Thousand Suns hit stores on September 14, 2010.

I say a lead single in fall 2012/album in winter 2012 is the earliest we can realistically hope for. Linkin Park always takes longer than anticipated with their albums, it's nothing shocking.
