That's the problem. I paid, essentially, $70 for 70 hours of entertainment—a dollar an hour. If I'd've known that's all the more fun I was going to get out of it, I'd've just rented it a couple times and been done with it.

In fact, I've played Oblivion more than Skyrim since I bought it.

Then again, when I first bought Oblivion, I played the hell out of it straight away and didn't touch it for another six months. I'm hoping that's what'll happen with Skyrim when I get sick of playing Oblivion again.

 

I'm sure with the arrival of some DLC sometime soon, I'll get back into it even more.

I've played Morrowind more than both Oblivion and Skyrim to be honest. Oblivion flat out bored me to death, and I haven't even played Skyrim yet. Not sure I want to at this point though.

 

I would like to wish very late happy new year to everyone.

 

I hope I can say the same. Hell, that's why I created that Twitter account for my character; I wanted to try to get myself back into the game, and I gave up on that after one whole day.

I hated Morrowind. Even when it came out, I hated it. I never had any idea where to go or what to do. Everything was always so confusing. Then again, I suppose that a true "adventure" game wouldn't give you a small arrow pointing toward your destination. I guess I was too young to understand that. Maybe I'll have to try to get back into it some time.

I think what ruined Morrowind for me when I revisited it is the console (I played on the PC). I'd use the console, hack all my stats to the max and then just run around killing people. Literally no fun at all.
