I know. RCMixes' current mashup for the contest is pretty good, but I think this one is much better. Just my opinion though. Also, make sure to subscribe to him on YouTube and SoundCloud he's got some cool mashups.

 

As soon as it's done processing, if it ever finishes, the track is available here on YouTube with the download link in the description. Don't judge too harshly now though. I worked hard on the track and was pretty much limited to using Audacity.

 

Hate to be brutally honest but that is terribly off time and the volumes need to be checked. The songs can potentially work but I think you need something other than Audacity because Audacity is terrible for mashups, and I suggest looking up a quick tutorial on mixing up songs, learn what bpm is, and try practicing some more. The more practicing you do the better you'll get at it. Keep trying!

Since you're using Audacity, a little advice: download another program first that will tell you what the BPM of your song is. You can also count it out yourself, of course, but that's a lot of extra work and being off by even 1 BPM is huge.

Once you've figured out the BPM of both songs, then you can use Audacity's "Change Tempo" effect on one of the songs (or both if you want to meet in the middle, though I would suggest only changing one). Note that even just matching the BPM on both songs isn't enough, since often times the music is still off. Use "Generate Silence" at the beginning of one track until both are synced, and then just add silence wherever you need it during the song as well.
