Which was only kept alive by games like Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Power Stone, Street Fighter, Capcom Vs SNK, and Dino Crisis, all Capcom games.

SEGA has a failing franchise that refuses to be revived through crappy games.
Capcom has an iron fist on the fighting game industry, single-handedly responsible for the revival of the movement. Streams of fighting game tournaments headlined with games such as Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Marvel Vs Capcom 3 have broken records for video game streaming previously held by Starcraft, a game so popular South Korea has an entire channel devoted to it.

SEGA's most recognizable character, depending on who you are, is Sonic, Sonic, or Sonic.
Capcom's most recognizable character is, depending on who you are, the entire cast of SFII, Dante of Devil May Cry, Leon Kennedy or Jill Valentine of Resident Evil, Mega Man, Frank West of Dead Rising, Phoenix Wright, Strider, Felicia of Darkstalkers, and more.

SEGA has Virtua Fighter.

As much as it pains me, I agree with Minus. Capcom is a killer, SEGA is the pile of shit. Sonic isn't even that great of a character.
