Intro and chorus (if you can call it a chorus) sound similar to one song from Meteora

The intro sounds like a ATS Prelude. the syth has a resemblance to numb.

 

I'm sorry, how the hell did this sound like Linkin Park at all?

If anything, the dreamy synth in the background sounds like Where'd You Go...by Fort Minor.
