I'd love to hear an acoustic version of blackout btw. Somebody, get on that.

I did hear an entire (instruments and vocals) a'cappela version on Youtube, it sounded pretty rad imo.

I've always really wanted to hear New Divide acoustically. Or better yet, What We Don't Know.

Quick question, I'm thinking of doing an acoustic version of Crawling and putting Hands Held High over it (I always loved it when Mike would rap the first verse at the start of Crawling). Just wanted to know if that's allowed? It would still be acoustic just
sort of a mash up I guess.

I kinda wanted to do What We Don't Know but there's no existing tabs as far as I know so I'd have to figure it out by ear, which would be a pain

I'm going to do this. :D although I fear my voice is going to be unbearable since it sucks. xD

I will DEFINITELY be participating in this, no clue what song I'll be doing yet though. Does it have to be strictly Linkin Park, or are Dead By Sunrise, etc. songs also acceptable?

Alright, that narrows it down...somewhat. I need to brainstorm on this one for a while. I also need to re-string my acoustic guitar...

Also, is this a cover or can we also reimagine it? I might throw together a weird version of a random song if I feel creative enough. I give myself about a 5% chance of that happening, but I like to think I'll quit being lazy one of these days.

Edit: Nevermind. I should have read the rules more closely.

Reimaginations are welcome, that's the point of the competition ;).

I might enter this one. Still have to talk to a friend about it.
Can we program/MIDI the piano? Neither of us have one, and recording an acoustic guitar is not viable for the time being.

Edit: Alright, read the previous posts. It is allowed.

Are acoustic sounds/sounds produced in nature like thunder, rain, wind, okay?

We'll make an exception and allow it, but try to keep everything else acoustic. We want these covers to sound as raw/organic as possible.

Not bad, not bad. I think you got some of the lyrics slightly (keyword being slightly) wrong in the beginning though lol.

Still a good first entry into the competition!

I went off the lyrics on SongMeanings, so if those are wrong, the lyrics to my cover are wrong, lol.
