What do you guys think lp's most underrated songs are. Session and easier to run are the first things that come to mind for me. Forgotten and valentines day are also cool songs that don't get alot of attention
In Between. Most of the lists on the Top Ten Worst LP Songs thread seems to contain this song. Each to their own, but honestly I personally think this song is awesome.
The Little Things Give You Away. It's the only great song LP released in between Hybrid Theory and A Thousand Suns and nobody talks about it. It may even be the greatest song they've created.
I'm voting for In Between. Also, By Myself is near the top of my list for favorite LP songs ever. And I would include Valentine's Day only because I keep seeing a LOT of people keep accusing the lyrics of being really trivial and yet they keep missing the obvious references to a funeral. LP really did botch the ending, though.
Naturally any of the Hybrid Theory EP tracks or bonus tracks are gonna be under-rated since they aren't as well known so I'll avoid those. I'd agree that In Between is really underrated.
The last four songs of M2M definately. Valentines day, in between, in pieces and tltgya. Other than those I would say hands held high.
In Pieces. I felt very strongly, then and now, that it could have been the new Breaking The Habit. I think they should have used it in place of Leave Out All The Rest or Shadow of the Day.
"In Between" and most definitely "In Pieces". I was pissed when "In Pieces" didn't get the single treatment, because now I'll probably never get to see/hear it live, IMO it's the best song on MTM.
I go for In Between. The first time I heard the song it eventually become my favorite. I believe Mike was able to deliver the song well and yeah, his voice is surprisingly cool and very laid back.
There are alot that I agree with that has already been posted. I'm going to add in Hit The Floor. The lyrics to verses in that song are very well written. Also it took me 4 years to hear the high pitched hum during the verses. I like finding stuff like that. It's like the gift that keeps on giving...
In Between. One of the most emotional songs they've ever written but it gets a lot of hate. Valentine's Day, Runaway, Easier to Run and Robot Boy also.
Pushing me away Runaway Session (brilliant track) and The Catalyst, a lot of people hated it when it first came out...
