I want weirdness too. But I don't want them to rely on synths, distortions, and glitches to make the weirdness. Well, at least not entirely anyways.
I'm picturing this album right now to be a simplified NINs kind of sound where it's pretty clean but has that synth craze of NIN in the backgrounds. Possibly a more energetic Issho Ni. But I do want more strings and if it's acoustic guitars then I'd like to hear Linkin Park do something different with the acoustic guitar. Bringing energy into a song with an acoustic And I definitely want crazier song structures and I love the synths and electronics so keep them there!
I expect some melodica from chris hardwick XD, anybody? Ummmmm I can't really say what I expect. LP is the only band I get butterflies before slipping the cd into the player because they do make every album different. And I truly believe meteora was different from HT. It was more polished #1. And 2, it had softer elements.
too limited, I would need a broader range. Not that one or two songs like that wouldn't be cool, but no more than that
A full acoustic aproach, and dubstep with violins and chellos. THIS. Or drop all traditional rock instruments And make music with traditional japanese native instruments! THIS, all THIS. That's the new album. With cookies. *edit* Lucy in the sky with diamonds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mten6gCmQk0 YES i can see it, i can hear it!!!
I would love to hear a little more guitars and a more orchestral feeling would be awesome too, but regardless of what we are expecting, I´m sure it´ll be totally different and not a mixture of previous albums.
They should make a song like the Harry Potter Puppet Pals song "Mysterious Ticking Noise" Mike, Mike, Mike Shinoda...Mike, Mike, Mike Shinoda...
lol I can tell you (and I'm not alone in this, I'm sure) as good as the first 2 albums were, we really don't want the old music or another repeat album
