Linkinpark.com Teases Fans With "A Thousand Horizons"

I was under the impression that the speculation in this thread was lulz-powered rather than srs-powered, but I'll bite.

I'm not buying an ATS+ style live album because ATS+ already exists as a region specific thing and it didn't get the amount of worldwide aimed teasing that Horizons is getting. If they were doing something similar to a live DVD, they would have done it for ATS+.

Surely, it must relate to Tokyo like Mr. Hahn said, BUT, note that it is also on LP's splash page as a teaser mystery. This would most likely mean that Tokyo is not the only point of interest, otherwise it would be less on the radar like ATS+ or Puerta de Alcala was. It has to be something most fans can partake in, otherwise they wouldn't be doing a mysterious splash page that makes their whole worldwide fanbase wonder.

And that means you can't immediately rule out remixes or new material. LP does not necessarily have to say what they are working on in advance, and they have been quiet on details lately. Mike has said he's been very busy lately, and not going into the LPU as much as he did in the middle of the ATS sessions when he had some down time. He's silence is closer to the end of the ATS sessions when he was very busy trying to meet deadlines. And since it's being mystery-teased, it HAS to be something decently large. A live album could be one idea, but so could many other ideas be.

Whatever it is, it could be debuted as something special in Tokyo, or Tokyo gets something extra special, but there's something coming for the rest of us too.

 

I think Mr. Hahn made a poster that shows 1000 different pictures of horizons. He's going to print several copies and post them all over the city of Tokyo. It's painfully obvious, isn't it?

 

You know, just because Joe said Tokyo doesn't mean it's going to be debuted at tokyo or whatever.
I think it's a special live show that will be filmed, and put into a CD/DVD. But I could be wrong. We'll see, cause we could all be wildly inaccurate.

Just don't expect for something grandiose, because you never know, it could be something not that big.

It would be great, but...uhm...

 

I highly doubt it's a remix album. But if it was, I wouldn't really be that excited for it. Especially since the odds that all of the songs would all be remixes by other artists. No thank you.
