I stopped reading once I saw, "I kinda see The fallen Like I do with LP's Meteora in many ways. It was great..."

In any case, Balsamo (not Balesimo) belongs with Cold, and it should stay that way.

Alright, maybe comparing it to that album was a little hash. theres' not contest that in lyrical department Fallen easily destroys Meteora (and many other ways too) haha,

But I do think some of the "Origin" demo's where better than the finals on the Fallen. Though that said, the ending of Whisper is on the album is epic (with the choir and strings). Best album closer ever.

Almost all of the second or third versions of the songs that made it to Fallen were worse.

What You Want sounds pretty good, The Other Side sounds like a female fronted Staind cover band.

Everything Amy says about this album tells me it'll be a typical Evanescence album which won't be very far from "The Open Door".

It'll actually be kinda interesting then to see Ev fans' and LP fans' reactions to this album. After all, going into the third album now with what it seems will be barely any change in their base sound at all. Those LP fans who bitch about MtM and ATS would be getting their wish, and maybe we can finally figure out whether it's worth it for a band to stick to their guns.

Edit: Coming back from having listened to all three previews, sure I don't love it, but at least it doesn't sound like that Nightwishy shit you heard from We Are the Fallen.

I prefer Nightwish over Evanescence's recent outing in any case.

As it is, I thought The Open Door sucked balls and Fallen was pretty decent. Then again, I don't really like Amy Lee at all anymore.

That´s awesome. And Nick Rasculinecz seems to be a great producer since I enjoy the stuff from the bands he recently worked with, like Deftones, Stone Sour or Alice in Chains.

The drums at the beginning startled me LOL

As far as the rest of the song goes, it's alright. It sounds a little different from what we are used to, but it doesn't really excite me in anyway.

In defense of the new record though, even though I haven't heard the new single yet....Ev's first singles have always been a little lackluster in comparison to the rest of the album. Bring Me To Life was a forced attempt by their label to copy Linkin Park (Amy even said so), and Call Me When You're Sober blew chunks in comparison to The Open Door. Pretty much, the whole album could be incredible and the lead off single could be cheesy as hell.

On the contrary, this is the first Evanescence song I've enjoyed in quite a long time.
