I love your sig pic. Linkin Park = most likely to be found completely lost, walking with grim determination past the graffiti-soaked bridges of Los Angeles, with their photographer.

When LP released MTM I liked it but didn´t really love it, but today I can say that I really love it. Actually I enjoy it very often.

So I just watched the making of Minutes To Midnight for the first time in years and realized that there was a part in there when they were talking about the strings that "Blackbirds" was being tracked. Totally paid no attention to it before and wrote it off as the ending of "No Roads Left" because I had no idea at the time that "Blackbirds" existed. It's pretty awesome to realize stuff like that after the fact. Linkin Park: The gift that keeps on giving.

I did say I liked MTM and HT.

    It goes like this.

    1. ATS/Reanimation
    2. MTM/HT
    3. The dirt
    4. The worms that live in the dirt
    5. Meteora/Limp Bizkit

When it came out I really liked MTM (with some exceptions) and I still like it just the same, maybe I appreciate it a bit more. Still can't get used to Valentine's Day or In Between (In Between being a bit more bearable). WID is a bit generic, true, but I like it anyway. I understand why people like TLTGYA. I like it myself, but it's taken a back seat since ATS, and I don't listen it much.

    1.ATS
    2.MTM
    3.HB and Meteora
4.Some other bands along with Collision Course and Reanimation

NRL is probably the best Linkin Park song ever and should have replaced WID. I find it a lot more innovative and daring than Meteora.

...replaced WID? Why? WID was one of the bands most successful singles of their career, and WID and NRL don't even sound alike at all. They should have just added NRL to the album! 13 songs is good.

Second most successful, after New Divide, if I'm not mistaken.

But if WID would have been dropped from the album the it wouldn't have been in TF1 so Micheal Bay might not have wanted LP to make a song for TF2 so New Divide will proberly never have been made. :(

I love MTM.. But i listen to Hybrid, Meteora, and ATS more. It's sometimes i forget that they ever made that album.
But it happens that i chill to the music of MTM, like Valentine's day, Shadow of the day, Hands held high and in pieces..
    And ofcourse No Roads Left

A good album with great songs.

I liked the "political" songs like The Little Things Give You Away, Hand's Held High and No More Sorrow. Nothing special on Given Up but you can't deny the sheer energy of that track. In Pieces, In Between and Valentine's Day sound artsy and I love it. Shadow of the Day and Leave Out All the Rest have simple yet very meaningful lyrics.

What I've Done is pretty generic, but the good thing about it is that Mike's rap verses are not interspersed with Chester's singing (caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow).

One of my favourite aspects of "Minutes To Midnight" was that they'd stopped trying to shoehorn Shinoda's rapping into everything and, so, whenever Shinoda put verses down, he really made them count. :) I'm glad they pretty much kept that idea intact for "A Thousand Suns" as well, and they're also getting better at creating music that fits with the rapping, as that album shows.
