Smells Like Teen Spirit was a good album but I prefer Heart Shaped Box (in all seriousness though, I do prefer In Utero over Nevermind)
Honestly though, I could care less because I know his favorite band is one of my favorite bands. Anyone who is as hardcore a fan of Jane's Addiction as I am wins, in my book. Nevermind or not.
Great interview; it really is apparent as to how much the band has evolved over the last few years. The adolescent attitude displayed before have now become much more relaxed and coherent. In reaction to Chester's regret in missing out on the first Lollapalooza event, I can say that I relate 100%. Missing out on the Meteora World Tour back in Feb of 2004 will bother me for a longtime to come.
I went to the Meteora World Tour when it came by Dallas. I will admit that it was an enjoyable tour. I mean, aside from POD. Although that didn't really matter since I took that time to go buy a t-shirt.
