And here at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas too. I thought it was the best "God bless us..." that Mike has ever done.

Can't wait for the stream to be posted up, and that sexy "Rolling in the Deep" cover is sexy. :awesome:

Loved the live stream! The energy was just crazy.
Damn, that makes me whis I had gone to the Munich show about one week ago. (unfortunatly never been to a LP live show so far, I hope It'll work out once though)
And as I already posted in the other thread RiD was simply amazing! :)

Wow! Linkin Park were outstanding tonight at the iTunes festival! They were on top form. Unfortunately I missed the first bit because I had to create an Apple account to be able to watch it (very frustrating!). Great performances of The Catalyst, One Step Closer and Adele's Rolling In The Deep in particular. The latter being 100x better than when they performed it at the recent LPU Summit; Chester's vocal ability is really put on display with this cover. I really wish I was at this gig.

Can't stop listening to it. Chester should sing these kind of songs more often, I love the raw emotion in his voice.

It was definitely a great cover. The piano version suited it perfectly, wasn't too bothered that the entire band didn't jump in on this one.

To be honest I was hoping after the first verse that they wouldn't join. It was perfect just with a piano, everything else would just have ruined the atmosphere in my opinion.

Yeah I agree with you Patty! Piano and Chesters soft voice! Can't get any better than that!

I think LP should play more intimate gigs. Or at least one on every tour.

Chester showed a whole new side to himself with this performance. It's made me more excited for their next album than anything else they've done so far...

I'd suggest we saw this side of Chester in "The Messenger".

This may be a controversial view but I think he destroyed The Messenger with this performance. And that's saying a lot.

Yeah, I can agree with that. I would not shed a tear if that wasn't played for a while. Wish they did covers a bit more frequently though. Once or twice a year would be nice.

Then again, if the next LPU CD is all covers, I would probably never ask again. Maybe.

I wholeheartedly agree. I personally prefer the message behind "The Messenger," but as far as emotion and pure ability go, "Rolling" blew it away.

I got Hybrid Theory when I was 10-years old, several months after its release after hearing In The End on the radio. Since then Linkin Park has been more than a band to me, they've been an inspiration and held sentimental value in my life. I've followed them through thick and thin and stood behind everything they've ever done, and I've always been proud to call myself a Linkin Park fan.

However, never in my life have I been as moved as I was when I was listening to Chester's performance of Rolling In The Deep. That third verse actually gave me chills when he ended it in falsetto. I've loved LP for as long as I can remember, that that was...something else. I always found The Messenger and Iridescent to be very powerful, soul driven songs, but that was on a whole separate level. I'm not sure what else to say, except bravo to Mike and Chester for delivering one hell of a performance on that one.

Speaking of Mike, he was freaking ACE today. I mean, wow.

What I would give to hear an unaltered performance from both of them on their A games.
