We all know about Mike's recent blog post regarding the vocal minority and I think it's safe to say that most of the members on these boards are in that minority, including myself. I've already seen some people do this, but for those who haven't, try to find time to write a review on itunes since that's where a lot of the negativity for ATS has been. Once you do so, take a screen picture and post it in this thread to prove that you actually wrote one. Though, positive and negative reviews are welcome. Here's mine:
I did one way back in September when the album came out and gave it 5 stars. I would post a screenshot but I mostly use my phone for Internet instead of my computer but I think this is a great idea!
Just click "write a review" and if you already wrote one it will show up. But as of now, I can accuse all of you of being lying douche bags
I got my copies of ATS from Amazon and LP.com. I would need to have purchased it from iTunes in order to review it on there, right? I did leave a 5 star review on Amazon back in September though.
Yeah, you can still review it on iTunes even if you didn't buy it from iTunes. Oh yeah?! I know you are but what am I?
The only things that you can't review before buying are iPod Touch/iPad apps. Other than that you can review whatever you like.
I only buy and review apps from iTunes, not songs, but that's good to know, thanks! I'll review it at some point.
A while ago I wrote a review in LibreOffice, it was between 10-13 manuscript pages. It was basically a mini story of all the songs of ATS, written in review form. If I can somehow acquire that data from an Out of Commision HDD, then I shall post it. (or maybe not, it's really embarrassing to write ten plus pages for one 46~ minute album. I don't know about posting it on iTunes though, since I don't have an account there and don't really think that I want one actually. haha I also wrote a similar review for The Shin's Wincing the Night Away, as I believe that that album is actually a pretty cohesive story. But that's kind of irrelevant. (which is why I said it)
I wrote the following: I may have made a mistake, though, since they double-check reviews before posting, and I titled my review "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Buy the Damn Album."
My 2 cents I'm bad at reviews that requires you to express your feelings and thoughts in 200 words or less so i end up saying a whole lot of nothing. But i tried anyways so... Basically, all you need to know is i love this album with the passion of a thousand suns.
I could have sworn I already made a review, but what the heck i'll put in another one. Though one doesn't have to stop there. You could write a review at metacritic and amazon, which I already did back a long time ago, and upvote more reasonable reviews.
Public forum = lurkers. Not that it'd be hard to ID me if you tried, but I want my stalkers to put at least an penny's worth of effort into it. Old habit
I gave it a 3. I'm really happy to see the weighted rating was a 3 too, even if it's a fight to the death between the squealing schmucks that are spooging for Meteora Theory 3 and the clowns that think the album is the best in audio orgasms since Kid A.
