Linkin Park has uploaded the 3D version of the Iridescent video to YouTube. It was announced earlier this week that Iridescent would be shown in 3D at select theaters, but now anyone with blue/red, cyan/yellow, green/magenta 3D glasses, or a 3D capable computer monitor, can view it. Check it out below. Make sure to watch it in 1080p full screen, and click the 3D icon to configure your YouTube 3D viewing options.

That was my fault. I meant to type cyan/yellow when I edited his post and put blue/cyan. Fixed.

Well how about that, there is a 3D youtube. O_O
not the theater polarized kind, but still.

blue is an additive primary color.
cyan is a subtractive primary color, and looks similar to turquoise with a pinch less green.

I made a typo! Stop focusing on it!

And Kathy, isn't it ironic that you were JUST talking about 3D youtube and then BAM? :awesome:

It's like there was a prophecy of this music video or something. People were suspecting the music video was 3D before anyone said it was 3D.

Linkin Park has some magic powers or something.

But no! they're not the same color!

People as in me . I was the first to suspect it, and the one that edited the LPA news post/sent the tweet and FB post suggesting people put on their 3d glasses. :p

For anyone not able to enjoy the 3D because they have no glasses:

    1. Click on "3D" on the bottom right of the video.
    2. Select "Other Options".
    3. Select "View video without any 3D device".
    4. Go back to the video and you will see two screens showing the video. There are two white dots above them.
    5. Cross your eyes (YUP!) to make the 2 dots combine and form another dot in the middle. This takes some focus.
    6. Enjoy the 3D blast that is the "Iridescent" video most people here at the LPA assumed it would be 3D!

:D Oh, and don't stay cross-eyed too long.

so, I could watch it in 3D with the 3D glasses I used in cinemas? I don't know which option...
Or do I need a 3D monitor as well?

edited: Movie theater 3D glasses are not compatible with YouTube's 3D glasses modes. o_O

You need an Nvidia powered video card capable of viewing stereoscopic images for it to work.

Pretty much what I was talking about when I said for LP to put it online.

I remember watching a few things in 3D on youtube before, but it never worked that well and thus the Nvidia option is more reliable.

Hooray for having red/cyan 3D glasses hanging around.
Looks nice, would have been great to see it in 3D IMAX.
