Tomorrow Linkin Park will play the Sonisphere Festival in Imola, Italy at the Autdroma di Imola (Racing Circuit) which also will be the only date Linkin Park plays in this country before playing Arendal, Norway on June 28th for the Hove Festival.

Linkin Park are coming off of their final Projekt Revolution date in Munich, Germany where they performed the exact same set as Leipzig, Germany with the only difference being that Reading My Eyes appeared during the bridge of Bleed It Out. None of the special additions for the Moscow show made their way into the set, which may suggest that the new intro and "Energy Up" version of Iridescent were exclusive to that show and may not appear for the rest of the tour dates scheduled for this summer.

What surprises will the show in Imola, Italy hold for Linkin Park fans? As noted in a previous tour post; the only song from A Thousand Suns that Linkin Park has yet to perform is Robot Boy. Known as a fan favorite off of A Thousand Suns, "Robot Boy" has not been premiered live as of yet due to difficulties in translating the large amount of 'multitracks' to a live performance. Will we ever see Robot Boy live? Only time will tell.

Are you heading to Imola to see Linkin Park? We'd love to see our Italian members represent us at the show! Let us know if you're going on the LPA Forums and feel free to submit your videos/photos to the LPA Tour Page!

I've just decided that whenever LP does both Reading My Eyes and A Place For My Head over Bleed It Out, I will refer to it as the Wombo Combo.

Because that's pretty much how I react every time they do it.

Yes, one water bottle. The were ignored\booed and the crowd yelled LIN-KIN PARK during MCR performance.
I think MCR was the only band totally ignored at the festival, at least, from where i was (first row) it seemed like that.
Sum 41 (their fans are crazy), Alter Bridge and Guano Apes rocked and the crowd enjoyed the performance. :)

That's a shame, I really hope it didn't paint LP fans in a bad light.

I really don't get the hate for MCR to be honest. What did they do to make you hate them so much?

He was once engaged to a woman named Helena back when they were Teenagers. They were in love To The End, but even The Sharpest Lives can come to The End. Disenchanted with their relationship, Helena told Schen, "I Don't Love You," and went to join The Black Parade.

Now, I wouldn't say Schen is an easily perturbed guy, but he doesn't have a Bulletproof Heart, that's for sure. The heartache ate at him like a Cancer, and soon it was Summertime. He was in his car, taking a Cemetery Drive when he ran into Helena again. She asked how he was, and he answered quite succinctly, "Dead! I'm Not Okay (I Promise). The Ghost Of You is like a Party Poison. Thank You For The Venom." Rather than feel sympathy, Helena said quite rudely, "Look Alive, Sunshine!" and ran off, taunting Schen by singing "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)" into the distance. Disenchanted, Schen called his Mama, and merely said: "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Fucking Deathwish." He had decided his only solution was the endless Sleep. Taking several bundles of rope, Schen went to Hang 'Em High, and wrap them tightly around his neck. As tears rolled down his face, he muttered his Famous Last Words, "This Is How I Disappear."

Just goes to show you that while it's fun, The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You.

What were we talking about again?

You'd HAVE to be from Jersey Derek, believe me. When your growing up here in Jersey, in high school, those of us that listened to real rock and the like had to put up with the MCR crap before Beiber arrived on scene. It was everywhere. MCR here was/is the high school equivalent of N'Sync during the 90's except with guitars and drums and not a back track to sing over. I was at the PNC arts center for Prjkt Revo 07' when they toured with LP. I couldn't not BELIEVE the amount of tweens that came out for Revo just to see THEM and when they were done they all left, then the LP fans came in that is one moment I do not forget. I sat through the whole set but dear lord it was like being consumed in a bowl of bees and anchovies.

    N'Sync + 30STM style + baby pyros + 80's tattoo's + rainbows = MCR

You. Keep your doors and windows locked tonight Minus. Keep them locked. ¬.¬ That's all I'm going to say to you from here on out. If it goes beyond all this above I will keep your soul away from the internet and you will be strapped to a toilet covered in truck bed liner for a seat in a room filled with nothing but Teriyaki sauce and plushy Pikachu's.

Linkin Park probably has just as much, if not more, in common with N'Sync as MCR does.
