so would you want to want Linkin Park sing a fun song in Japanese including using Japanese instruments + in their single--> music video, would you like to have Linkin Park share some Japanese culture? im not sure but i thought that Mike Shinoda sang in Japanese in Runaway [reanimation]? remember to vote aplenty i def. vote yes to all three questions stated above!!
I vote no, have you ever heard Japanese musicians sing in English? it sounds horrible and unnatural. Mike doesn't know Japanese either. As far as I know the only LP song that has Japanese vocals is Jornado Del Muerto, and I don't Japanese either so I don't know if it sounds terrible to Japanese speaking people.
The Breaking The Habit video is in Japanese Anime style. Maybe in the next video Joe Hahn can include a couple of geishas running in slow motion.
i heard that Mike Shinoda is half Japanese and i saw a video where he speaks Japanese as he was reading a fan note out loud at a concert that Linkin Park was playing in so he can speak it even if Mike were to do a small segment of rap in Japanese or in the refrain as well it could work out, im sure**

I meant in general, sorry for not being specific. Utada is fluent in English and Japanese, she fucking better sing well in both. As for the others, bravo but even they sound a little off, you can easily pick out nuances being a fluent English speaker. Here's some counter examples. I even like some of these songs despite their Engrish and awkward pronunciation. I didn't even know this song was completely in English until I saw the lyrics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfXYiHGM4ME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acpZN58ll9E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vVw3aEtTv8 The original topic is calling for Linkin Park to sing/rap a full song in Japanese completely, which IMO would sound like shit. None of the band members are fluent in Japanese.
Living in Texas, I can say with 100% certainty that there are American-born citizens of the US that speak worse English than the links you've posted, and you know I'm right. Honestly I wasn't in here to talk about the discussion at hand; I just saw the remark about Japanese people being horrible at English and decided to strike, so the rest of your argument is akin to trying to convince a lion to go vegan.
Minus just owned Ya'll back on topic, I think LP could tap into more of the Japanese culture/music. They've shown and interest with it on Reanimation (the Gundam on the cover) Nobodies listening on Meteora, Jornada Del Mureto on ATS & all the oriental font stylings they've adopted throughout the years. Not forgetting that they tour Japan almost as much as the US & Germany. Oh and Kenji by FM is another obvious one.
