If you're going to be a mod, at least post relevant threads to the topic at hand. Next time, try posting your video in these threads: Poll: Rebecca Black VS Jenna Rose VS Justin Bieber or Guaranteed To Be The Worst Song You've Ever Heard.
Nah that would just be bumping/necroposting in threads that shouldn't have been in other music in the first place. There's a difference between viral videos/memes/comedy and music even if there is some crossover. But we can discuss this further if you want to.
Frankly, the only thing worse than Rebecca Black is Rebecca Black jokes and parodies. The original was funny for like a week. Everybody's shitty parodies and "rants", not so much. Including the normally awesome Stephen Colberts.
I'd imagine the latter thread, started by an admin, deserves to be in Other Music. You know, seeing as it's about a song. And it's music. And it's an admin. Even if it was Derek. The former thread I mentioned is a discussion about music. So I don't see how anything you've argued has any relevance at all.
I don’t find this video funny or entertaining at all, perhaps because that guy has such a droning, monotonous voice. Or maybe because it just isn't funny.
Minus is right. There was absolutely no need to create another thread. There were already not one, but two threads on Rebecca Black...and regardless of whether I or another member created it, the threads were concerning a song and a musical artist so they deserved to be in Other Music. Please leave the moderating to the moderators, and report a thread next time if you feel it's not supposed to be created. The "report a post" function is there to bring threads to our attention, and with the help of our users we can handle these types of situations a lot quicker.
