Rashad and Shogun both suck. Jones will dismantle another established name, and you'll cry foul. He'll do it again, and another excuse will pop up. Then, hopefully, Rua can get his shit together, and then Jones will humble him one more time. Book it, Silva.
Rashad and Shogun do not suck. Jon Jones is simply a freak of nature. There's no shame in losing to him.
Indeed, that was insane. on the topic of Jon Jones, dude is a beast, I don't see him losing anytime soon. We've yet to see him in any kind of trouble.
Absolutely. That was one of the most exciting rounds I've ever seen in MMA. And how about Melendez-Kawajiri? Gil's elbows looked downright nasty.
Yeah, in fact, the whole Diaz Vs Daley card was great. Got a bit of a wait before the next Strikeforce, and UFC 129 not for a couple of weeks. There's been some pretty decent Bellator fights recently too, so that should hold me over until 129.
It sucks because in regards to the UFC, international cards aren't what they used to be. Back in the day, you had top fighters in the main event and their nationality was irrelevant. Now, they usually pack it full of UK fighters and think that every Brit wants to see Bisping in the main event. I see why they do it, but I'd much rather they booked a card like they would anywhere else, instead of catering to the market they're in.
Larry Sweeney committed suicide yesterday. Anyone who follows Chikara/ROH and that scene should know who he is. He actually appeared on WWE once, during a promo when (I can't remember who) was poking fun at Hogan Know's Best. Sweeny played the part of Nick Hogan. Dude was only 29 years old.
http://mmajunkie.com/news/23365/jon-jones-injured-phil-davis-vs-rashad-evans-now-targeted-for-ufc-133.mma Jon Jones is injured. Now Phil Davis is taking his place against Rashad. Kind of bummed that Jon is sidelined, but this fight should be much more competitive. Plus it'll answer a lot of questions about Mr. Wonderful.
I want Mr. wonderful to win, but I really don't know if he could do it. Really looking forward to the entire main card of UFC 129, holy shit balls. My predictions: GSP Aldo Brillz Machida Henderson
I wonder what the plan is now. Machida/Jones when it's possible? Winner of Rashad/Davis versus Machida? Where the fuck is Rampage? I really want to see GSP versus Silva now. I think it's a foregone conclusion that Anderson destroys Okami. They really need to just vacate the Welterweight strap, this is starting to get a little annoying. I really wanted Shields to take home the victory, but I think we all knew going in that it wouldn't happen. GSP is just too good. And I hate GSP.
