Not really. Any of the bands around that time could take credit for that.

    This.

Plus, there are plenty of mainstream artists from the 90's that were screaming in their songs before Linkin Park were even in the public eye.

I mean come on now, did you have to add that? Wow.

And I'm not sure if they'll make music when they're in their 40's. I guess they might. That just sounds so strange to me .

Rolling Stone didn't even include ATS among the 50 best albums of 2010.

I couldn't care less, but Rolling Stone is known for hyping "culturally relevant" bands.

I have a vision where the band makes a few more albums, Chester gets worn out, and the band splits. Then Mike goes back and makes some more solo records to end his career.

Or...they completely ditch heavy music and make softer music until they're 50 :awesome:. No but really, it's possible. We'll see if Chester really does stop screaming.

Why wouldn't they continue making music through their 40's, 50's, 60's?

They may not be together as a band but I don't see people like Mike or Chester ever not making/performing music one way or another.

I love the shade of red I get when people tell me LP are like Limp Bizkit and then say Limp Bizkit's more popular in the States and other international countries then LP will ever be.

Of course it wouldn't have. Most of the songs are crap and for a crappy magazine to include an even crappier album on their top one fifty albums of crap for the crappy year, that would be crappy blasphemy.

edit: Wow I just said crap to many times. Oh crap.

Though, in ATS's defense on that, Rolling Stone didn't even give it a fair review. Just one fucking paragraph that meant literally nothing. My little brother could give a better review of the album, and he's only 12.

I don't think they will have have as big as impact as The Beatles, but I think they will stand out from other bands. They already do.

As for how much longer they will be together. I hate the thought of them breaking up. I hope it doesn't happen (but then I guess all bands break up or take a break eventually). I hope they can go for at least another 20 years. At least for making albums. If they took a long break and then started touring again without making new albums. I'd be ok with that too.

I know, right? I never read a negative review that was logical enough for me to respect it :/.
