Linkin park decided to release an exclusive boxset package for people who have joined the LPU, of all their demos ever? I know it seems unrealistic of it ever happening, it's just been on my mind lately so I wanted to know everyones opinion! I know on the LPU 9 and LPUX they had old demos and whatnot, but I was picturing a 3-5 cd set of all their demos from 1997 til now. Or maybe more CDs because I'm sure they have a lot of music ideas I'd like to hear everything they create in the studio. >:]
That would be awesome but not gonna happen. I hope they keep on releasing demos through the LPU on the annnual cds.
A agree with Figure... I don't see that as being realistic. I'm sure the LPU will continue to get goodies and exclusive like we always have. =)
Ya know, what would be cool if they re released all the LPU CD's in one big fat box set (a la Radiohead) Sure, us hardcore fans have most of em now, but it'll be great to have them all 1-10 in a limited edition box set. Although I reckon they should wait till LPU 20. Then there'll be quite an epic collection right there.
I'd want to hear all their finished demos. I most definitely don't want to hear all the countless hours of crap they've left unfinished over the years. That's like asking your hot girlfriend to give you a play by play of all the men she's sucked off before she found you. You might not find her so hot and attractive after that.
I like it when they give us that kind of thing in small doses, which is what they've been doing. Demo's are okay, but, then, Travis' analogy makes sense. ;P
Wouldnt it be awesomer if LP released a old demo every month and hosted another catalyst contest. Who ever mixed/write lyrics for it.
wouldn't it be awesome if the LPU actually started for the 2011 year and give us some very cool exclusives after the hefty price we payed for this year!
I'm not sure if this has been said in another post or not, but does anyone know what made the LPU price raise? Last time I renewed my membership was for LPU8. I think it was maybe 25 or 30$? But 60$ now? What's the deal?
They never justified it. The closest thing was "uhh... Summits are expensive!" But that doesn't make sense because .000001% of the entire LPU gets to go to those. Which means either they love charging everyone for services they will never use, or they is after lot$ o profit$. And playing soccer in a park cannot possibly be THAT expensive. I call shenanigans in there somewhere. And I'm not renewing until there is less shenanigans.
