Great job MFR. And especially, Mike with the Tees. I suspect he must have quite a few relatives over in japan still, so all my very best to Mike and his family at this time. :)

Why not have NOT ALONE on the front and the origami on the back? That would be a big yes!

I don't think they should do Not Alone at all, that song was for Haiti and it seems tacky to bring it out/reference it for every disaster that happens. I know it was a relief song, and this is for relief and it makes sense like that, but it just seems a little trashy to just whip out/reference the song out every time something happens.

The origami, however, is simple, relevant to 'Japan relief', and overall more pleasant to look at.

Because that wasn't an option, and would cost more money to buy the shirts, due to printing fees on their end.

I chose the Not Alone design. I like the origami one too but it feels kinda plain being just white. I think it would look better if there was a red circle, like the Japanese flag, in the middle of the butterfly.

I hope so! I'm ready to show more support for the cause.

Also, love the avatar. More support for the origami butterfly! :awesome:

I vote for the butterfly because its a great design. I don't wanna walk around with "not alone" on my chest.

The butterfly was my choice... its simplicity but yet intriguing design, kinda pure with that white, gives kinda peace to look at.
I felt very bad when i heared of the Japan terror, i like the place and the people so much, it was a stab in my heart. Sincere wishes to get standing the soonest again. And hope to be able to visit you someday in future.

I really want to donate and want one of those shirts to pay my respects to the victims and their families. But I'm stone broke. :(

I can't imagine too many people wanting to walk around with an ugly butterfly on their chest, either. :) Not Alone is the one I picked. It might have been created when the Haiti relief was going on, but I think it's a phrase that's universal.

I think having the LP logo on it is tacky, by the way. Let's represent a good cause AND promote Linkin Park at the same time. No thanks.

Never mind how it's pretty small and not necessarily something people are going to recognise. And if it's a Linkin Park shirt, maybe more of their fans will buy it thus raising more money.

I'm with Casey, I prefer the Not Alone design since it doesn't have anything band related on it, the Japanese flag is in the background and it's a strong message.

I'm not even going to continue this discussion because this isn't the place for it, or the time. I'll just say that putting a band logo on a disaster relief aide shirt is pretty stupid, and your reasoning behind it makes sense, but it doesn't smarten up a dumb idea.

What about people who despise Linkin Park, but appreciate what they're trying to do? (me).

Besides that... origami? a butterfly? REALLY?

Yeah, the phrase is universal. Just, the flag isn't. :"

Why not just put LP and Music for Relief logos on the sleeve of the Not Alone shirt?

Then they buy the other shirt like you did, or buy something from another charity because I'm sure Music for Relief aren't the only ones doing it. Or just donate money. Simple.
