Do you think it's right to classify someone who wants to end their extreme pain and suffering, as a murdered victim or as a justified suicide?
It's not murder because by definition murder is taking someone else's life with malice, and if anything euthanasia is the opposite. It's kind of sad to think about but I'm for people having the right to it. If someone is seriously ill with something they won't recover from they're probably going to stand less of a chance of a more dignified death the more they let their condition deteriorate, and if they don't want to see it through they shouldn't have to.
Definitely. ;/ Gotta be sure all other options have been exhausted and whatever, rather than, like, make a mistake you wouldn't even be able to regret.
If the government can give the death penalty to people, why cant i willingly want the same thing if there is no cure or hope to me living?
I'm for euthanasia. I think the system needs to be fixed for countries/states that allow it. My whole thing is, that if they allow animals to be euthanized, then why can't people who are truly in suffering, with no chance of survival be euthanized as well?
Because the hospitals get way less money from the family/insurance company. How much money would they lose if they killed off someone that would have needed their care for another month, or even a year? And then think of all the people just in one hospital that would qualify for that. We're talking maybe hundreds of millions of dollars per year per hospital.
I was just reading through this thread on Reddit, started by a guy who says he's about to die :* if anyone, you know, feels like reading
This. This should be the best objective choice out there. Though, I find it funny that those who are suffering big time, and made though it okay, they take back what they wanted and are so grateful to be alive. hmm.
I'm for euthanasia. In fact, I see no reason why anyone would be AGAINST young people that live in Asia.
Try telling China that. j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k j/k
Well, it's a rock and a hard place situation. On one hand, the thought of helping someone commit suicide is repugnant, it just sounds so macabre. But watching someone suffer in terminal illness - especially when they're tired of it - and not feel inclined to do something about it. I don't really know what to think.
