Hi Everyone! My name is Tina and I am a newbie....I found LPA thanks to Derek the Famous being at the Philly meet and greet in January. Mike gave him LPA a shout out and said to check them out and so here I am. I got to see Derek give Mike the famous red ketchup bottle shirt....Of course that while standing in line waiting for the M&G to start is when my camera decided to dramatically die on me....just my luck. So the only pics I have from the M&G were sent to me from fellow LPU member Johanna (thank you so much!!!) and I missed out on taking any of the now famous picture opportunity. Anyhow I am here now and so happy I found LPA.
Wait Mike told you guys to check us out? I didn't hear this . I know he asked us to come up front at the end, but I didn't hear him directing people to us. What did he say?
He said that you were LPA and that we should check you out on the web...it was right after you guys got your picture taken.....You must have been too pumped up to really hear it...
The whole part after he posed with pictures with us is an extreme blur. I know that Mike said he'd love to eventually do an interview with us, and I know he told us he liked our site...but the rest is just mush. I can't remember much at all, because it was mind blowing to get such praise from Mike, considering he's inspired me both as a graphic artist and a musician. It was just humbling.
No fucking way....he said that? I totally didn't hear him say that, I think we were still in shock from him posing for pics with us and personally thanking us. But I never knew he said that. That, is just awesome. Welcome to the LPA. If Mike recommends it, you know it's good!
I tried....I wanted the Red Ketchup shirt but Derek told me Mike has the one and only......Thanks to everyone else for the welcome.....I like it hear already.
If Mike didnt say anything I think most of the people in the room would have been oblivious to why you guys got to pose for pics with them......Thats how I found out about LPA.....I found it amusing that he knew exactly who Derek was.....Like you were the star or something..haha..
Welcome, enjoy your stay! I'm still a noob in some sense but I feel I've been here long enough! And that's awesome, I'd love for LPA to get to interview Mike directly.
