DUDE Circa Survive is MY 2nd favorite band next to Linkin Park of course lol. Man I wish Circa was touring with them on the whole tour.

 

Just got back from the show. Can't say much cuz I'm really tired. It was an awesome experience. Best day ever. Went backstage with Chester's bro, hanged out with Circa Survive y Paper Tongue, talked to some of LP's crew, talked to Chester, then went to the LPU M&G with the band, got a lot of stuff from Hugo & Maurice, won the Projekt Rev Art Book in the LPU trivia, and in the end, saw the show from the side. I was expecting a different setlist since I saw A1 in Chile, but well, it's LP and they always put on a good show.

I know man. I'm glad they landed a spot on this tour even if it was only for a couple of dates.

 

Please, when you're no longer tired, could you tell me all about Paper Tongues? I love those guys(well mostly the singer's voice) and i had dreamt of LP taking them out on their North American Tour ever since i knew about them so that i can see the both of them at the same time. You can imagine my disappointment when LP brought foreign bands instead(albeit good ones.)

Then they go and get Paper Tongues for the shows i couldn't plan for at the last minute. So I need to know how they did. Did the crowd receive them well? Were they blown away by Aswan's beautiful voice? Were they nice people? Most importantly, how long did they play and how was the music? I am so jealous of you. I want to see this guys live so bad as i'll probably be one of the few who would actually appreciate them.

I saw part of their show from the side of th e stage, and they were pretty good. I had seen them the same day in an acoustic set they did in a record store here in Phoenix, and they were good too. It's not the style of music I listen to, but they have a lot of energy, and the singer is GREAT. They are really down to earth, humble guys. Hanged out with them a bit, and they were super excited about the opportunity they had. (same with Circa Survive. They were really nice and humble - I missed their show though for being at the LPU M&G).
And yes, from what I saw, people liked Paper Tongues show.

 

Amazing fucking show. I was so close, I almost got to touch Mike's hand when he went in the crowd... fuckin pushers pushin' me and shit -__-

But Circa Survive was HILARIOUSLY bad, omg, Alvin and The Chipmunks 2. It was mean (but funny) but the guy next to me yelled at them "how many songs left?" and the lead singer said "only a few" and then every time they would take a pause between songs the lead singer would mention that they were almost done.

Btw, thank you for letting me help with texting the songs LPA, sorry I got 2 songs wrong though I was without internet so I didn't see the setlist leaked and I was way too excited to think straight.
