setting place: in a new complete built neighborhood time: starts around 6 or 7 pm when: Summer evening-night over the weekends Ben is a made up name to identify the main character. *intro number 1 with cool music effects--there is a "mad" scientist working on a plan and in the end, he the scientist gets the helocopter. *the main intro [the 16 claps] There are a bunch of party people at Ben's house, they are clapping to the 16 claps and so is the band LP, who are on stage outside. so, its all mixed: 1 clap inside and 1 clap outside a total of 16 times back and forth. Once the lead guitars starts playing, the video camera is outside recording the band play. The video camera is set infront a few inches or feet away enough to where that the cameraman gets the full shot of the band perfectly. The clapping shots are still happening. The ones who doesnt play and sing when the guitars are playing, they are clapping like Chester. *verse1--> A "mad" scientist walks in trying not to look suspicious. That "mad" scientist pours a chemical into the drink that is being served at the party. [the chemical makes the people fall down and starts snapping their fingers with their left hand and does some wierd walk all to the tempo of the beat]. He, the "mad" scientists leaves to go to his helocopter. It is parked nearby. Ben is upstairs at his desk [writing lyrics down=stuck in my head again, looks like ill ]. Then Ben puts on his shoes to go downstairs to join the party. He notices that everyone is wierd. They are just waking up [tired & strange looking]. then, the people starts snapping their fingers all with the same hand and some starts walking and others starts bending their knees up & down all to the tempo of the beat. Ben starts freaking out. *refraine1-->He looks for his bestie and found him or her and they drank the chemicaled drink too. So, Ben freaks out more because he is thinking that there is something wrong with him. He leaves while freaking out. Ben goes across the street to go see what is going on-why is everyone being strange. Without Ben knowing, his neighbors drank that chemicaled drink too. So as soon as they opened the door, they started snapping their fingers and bending their knees up and down at the tempo. *verse2--> Ben is looking for help. Ben goes to 2 more of his neighbor houses. and oddly, they started doing the same thing=the same reaction from the chemical. *refraine--> Band shot!! the cameraman is recording the band [the whole refraine] added with some cool and creative standing microphone and guitar moves. *Middle of the song [@1:55 to 2:44]--> more of the cameraman recording the band. At the long notes [beats per second], holding that one note for 16 beats per second at Misery, the whole band is standing on a stage that fits the band perfectly through out the whole video. so at Misery [the 16 holded note], that stage goes up low medium high, medium tempo wise, not too fast and not too slow. then at the 13th. holded note, then thats when the stage goes higher than the 16th holded note. and tempo wise, the stage goes up alot faster than the 16th. holded note. then the stages goes back down. *the end of song refraine--> cameraman records band play and Chester sing until he sings I given up. The helocopter from the sky is landing and has landed. Then Ben speed walks or runs up the street bc he notices a helicopter being parked there. Its a big street enough to where the helocopter fits. Ben runs to the helocopter and goes into it to take off. While Ben sits down and buckle up, the driver of the helocopter turns his head around and the driver has his eyes wierd [unique contact lenses] kind of like snake eyes, but something more unique and different that no one has ever used before. And the driver of the helicopter turns out to be the "mad" scientist. Conclusion, Ben wants to be normal again, out of his misery from freaking out so much and since everyone was being so wierd. ** [the point inc. the song would have to be that he gave up searching for answers and the whole chemical thing is kinda like a virus, but it wares off. i forgot to mention that part] - the main connected point. He just had to get out of there. the end, i hope u all likes this idea for Given Up by Linkin Park and dont forget to send comments on what do you all think of this idea.
I think the best video for Given Up would be a video of Linkin Park in the recording studio and being all frustrated about making the song "Given Up" and coming to the realization that's it's not a very good song and have a good old time of dissecting and destroying it. That way, I know that they weren't serious when they released it on M2M and it was just for the lulz.
