That's because they hate each other now and film their parts separately.

Yep. Mike can't actually stand Joe. Says Joe thinks he can be the only asian dude in Linkin Park.

    What the fuck.

I only like it from the guitar solo part onwards (when the bomb explodes). I'll take The Catalyst and WFTE video over this anytime. Hell, I'll even go as far as to say I like the Bleed It Out video more than this.

I actually quite like the video. Sure it's nothing overly ground breaking, but I like how all the videos have a common thread between them. Maybe it could have been deepened and executed a little better but it's good for what it is, and I'm sure it was his intention to keep it simple.

People will always complain. I mean, people complain Linkin Park's videos don't have a narrative anymore and they don't use actors, and when they do, people complain there's not enough band footage. I guess they could come to a balance, but I'm sure to Joe, the band performance wasn't important in this video, especially with the message of the song/video. I quite like how the band footage is minimal, and how it relates in context. Overall it's a solid video which makes sense in the grand scheme of things.

The concept of the video is good but the execution was poor. Not impressed with this video whatsoever.

I'd like to think of BITS and The Catalyst as companion pieces. BITS is before the bomb, The Catalyst is after. They work together if you view them like that.

I believe this was deliberate too, seeing as "Fallout" has BITS lyrics.

I was a little shocked when I first watched it. I just saw a bunch of random people and I thought AM I WATCHING THE RIGHT THING?! After watching it a few times it does sort of make sense now. This must have been such an easy shoot for the band (apart from Mr Hahn) lol.

The goldfish save this video for me. :seaman:

That's what I was talking about when I mentioned the grand scheme of things, and how BITS works in context.

You have Burning In The Skies which is the moments before the bomb, The Catalyst which is after, and by watching Burning In The Skies, we know that Waiting For The End takes place in the moments the bomb actually hits. I mean, using the same exact visuals from WFTE pretty much gave it a way. It's all right there. That's what I like about this video, that despite being simple, it manages to tell a story with the other two videos as a common thread.

I don't know, I guess I just like the continuity and the fact that WTFE takes place during the bridge of this song.
