On this site there's a quiz that determines where you place on the political compass, left to right and up and down.

I'm too lazy to upload the picture now, but in comparison to Dean's chart, I'm just one square up and one square to the left.

 

Too lazy to upload mine, but my Obama fanboyism shouldn't make it too hard to figure out.

 

I'm farther left than I was the last time I did this. Hmm.

 

Some questions I'm quite unsure how I feel about and thus chose certain things on an impulse. Which means I could change my mind but as of right now I'll leave it as is, exactly where Luke is.

Yeah, I still have one from a couple of years back saved on my computer, and now apparently I'm less libertarian and more left wing than I was.

 

I think I've moved more to the right than I was before in the last thread, which I find alarming as I thought my views had taken more of a left than previously. So all in all I'm confused.

i would have thought so before, but i`m from Germany, so it is not accurate by any means, yet some questions can be applied for any country imo.

I always say I'm not actually that left wing, but I always end up surprising myself with this sort of thing so I guess I should just accept that I am haha.

It's gonna be awkward being the first conservative to post in this thread

 

I'm sure if I took this test again later today after more thought I'd be touching the outer wall of the left and people would also be chasing me with a pitch-fork. Owell.

 

The first time I took this test years and years ago I was libertarian but absolute center.
Then i started moving left... and now I've stopped moving left and appear to be moving further and further downward. Though I do not identify AT ALL with them ayn rand objectivist style Libertarians.

I'm really surprised how consistent the people in this thread are.
Before I lose my sanity, someone please post something not in the green quadrant lol.

There were a few questions I didn't really get, but I'm definitely more conservative than that.

well..

Starting from the center, I'm x= - 1, y = 1.

Or for people who need a visual refernces/not math-friendly, (from the center) 1 left, one up.

I'm pretty satisfied knowing that i'm pretty centered on everything. Or least, fairly centered.

 

It's not exactly a fool proof way of telling your political compass.

I'm left-wing, but I hold a few values that are considered more to the right which is why if anyone asks I just say Center-Left.

 

It's only really supposed to give you a broad idea of where you stand... it's not going to be as cut and dry as "you're a revolutionary anarcho-primitivist" or whatever. I have a bit of a conservative streak when it comes to certain things but on balance mine is about right. Pretty much all of my stronger views go more the other way so yeah.
