How did I find this website? I really have no idea; I joined this forum half a year ago, but I've probably been getting LP news from here since '04 at least. I probably found LPA through linkin-parkworld.com, a site that sadly no longer exists to my knowledge, but I can't be sure if it was that one or one of the many other fansites that were around then whose names I've forgotten.
I think it was either a derivative of my current username or something involving "starwarsfreak." All I remember is I joined in '07 just before MtM was released and I was one of those heavily scrutinizing and analyzing the clips that were coming out in order to get some idea of what this "new sound" business was all about. I also remember drifting out of the community shortly after the album came out, as I was really disappointed with it (at the time, anyway).
I'm happy to say that we're still the first 'fan site' that comes up . Granted the slow-ness in the LP world lately has bumped us to the top of page 2 on US results, but we're still doing pretty good considering.
Now that's awesome. I just tried it myself. However, that's for "linkin park forum". If you google just "linkin park" we're second page, first fansite to come up in search results.
*scratches head* Oh gee I don't know, when i found this site it must have been like 2002 or something. Maybe though google, or a link out of pushmeaway.com or maximumlinkinpark
I kept hearing about LPA since along time as a cool fansite and what most attracted me the contests... So i told myself i had to join!!! But remebered late at night !! Cause i found it would be too late to join ,had to do it early. Cool i found that thread to share my story with LPA Soon i'll be joining for a year but i don't have much activity
My LPU friend LP13413 told me about this site a few years ago. I only just decided to join approximately a year ago
I have heard of this site a while back from members on linkinpark.com. I visited it, looked at the forums and so on but i never really joined. i don't know why, but at least I did today!
