Who else thinks that "Meeting Of A Thousand Suns" was way too short?
I mean there are so many little clips on youtube floating around which show the making of individual songs, why not put it all together as one thing? Plus the digital distortion effects are really, really annoying.

I've only watched it once and the distortion effects really pissed me off  I actually forgot it existed until I read this just now.

The LPTV episodes such as "Megaphone Brad", "Chester's Lullaby" and "Blackout" freestyle were way better imo.

I thought it was way too short as well. And I especially didn't like the whole Catalyst montage thing.

It was short, but the last third of it, where Mike is spazzing out about deadlines and everyone else is half-way shitting on him and his attitude was really interesting.

It was too short and sometimes a little weird, but I love what Chester says in the end of the whole documentary.

I quite enjoyed the documentary to be honest. Yeah it was a tad short, and kinda choppy, but I enjoyed the majority of it.

So I watched it again and decided it's not too bad  it is short but even if it was an hour long I would still probably say it's too short. :awesome:

Chester's speech at the end was a highlight and I love all the crazy new sounds the band were experimenting with. This makes me very excited for their next album in 2018 or whenever.

From what I remember the distortion effects & The Catalyst montage took up a lot of running time. The actual content, seeing the stresses and that the band can get on each others nerves was good insight (lol and some people thinking they were going to break up after seeing it :D) Chesters bit at the end was great.

If they had cut out a lot of the distortion stuff (and all of the Catalyst, that was pointless) and instead adding more stuff that was in LPTV it would have been much better. As it is it feels kind of lazy or rushed.

I'll mark that on my calendar :awesome:

I'm just angry Chester's wife never made an appearance in the DVD.

Really, I like the documentary. Some of it seemed kind of cheesy with emotions, but the musical stuff was cool to see.

Yeah, the LPTV clips were more interesting and what I was expecting to see in the documentary. The documentary had its moments as mentioned earlier but yeah it was too short and very vague, and damn Brad for not letting them film what he was about to say.

I understand all the distortion and effects from a creative standpoint, I think they were used to show that whole digital vs human concept that the album plays with a lot.

No, you fail for thinking the best part is a bunch of random distortion shit which is served to make the documentary appear longer than it really is.

I agree with the fact that it was too short but this quote made the entire documentary for me and it's reason for existing

But this is just my opinion.

That was my favorite quote as well Meryl. I love the band's honestly, and what he said spells a great future for this band.
