Taken from Sonisphere's Official UK site

I've gotta say I didn't see that coming. Not just because of Paul's fairly recent death but also because Corey and Jim have barely toured with Stone Sour in support of Audio Secrecy yet. Nevertheless I'm pleased that this confirms Slipknot isn't over and done with just yet and I'm curious to see how they're gonna play without Paul.

Fucking awesome. I'm so glad they have decided to play shows. I was really upset about the death of Paul and was afraid that Slipknot would be at an end. But they are back. Hopefully this is just the first of good Slipknot news

Best news I've heard in a while. I seriously thought Slipknot was done with the passing of Paul. Great to see them back on their feet.

This could be great news, and also a possible follow up to All Hope Is Gone.

Joey's been saying that they've been writing new stuff but Corey (and apparently the majority) is pretty adamant that new new material isn't in the works yet.

I think new material might be a bit too soon. I'm happy that the band are continuing but I do find it to be rather weird timing, I think Corey and Jim should promote Audio Secrecy a bit more. I'm wondering if the band will showcase new masks for the shows.

Well I like Stone Sour but I'd much rather have Slipknot.

I'm willing to bet there where be some alterations to their outfits/masks in honor of Paul's passing.
