no, I haven't ... can you tell a bit about it? ... I'm looking for good animes at the moment ... ^^ ... I've finished "Candy Boy" a few days ago ... Has anyone seen it? ... I think it's a really good yuri anime ... what kind of anime do you like? ... does anyone watch shonen-ai? ( I don't know many good yaoi animes) by the way ... the best anime ever isn't Bleach ... it's Death Note
The best Anime ever is Panty and Stocking! I'm Joking but I think Baccano! is the best Anime I have ever seen.
HELLA NECROPOST. Hi Manu, Cowboy Bebop would like to speak with you. Evangelion was great, but it doesn't hold a candle to Bebop. It doesn't have that timeless shine that Bebop has.
Please try not to necropost. This thread was over a year old. However, if you guys plan on continuing this conversation, I'll leave this open.
Other way around. I've seen everything Evangelion and will the first to praise it but Light is the best Anime character ever written. They can release as many "Rebuild" films as they want but that's just visual effects. In terms of story, Death Note, especially the first half, is simply genius.
You think that I think that you're thinking that I'm going to do this, so I'm going to do exactly what you think I'm going to do because even though it increases the percentage of the belief that I'm Kira, it makes it less likely logically that I'm actually Kira, which you know I'm going to do because it's the only thing Kira would actually do.
Oh no you didn't! *waves finger* Make fun of it all you want but trying to figure out what was going to happen next and witnessing characters outsmart each other was what made the Death Note manga so much fun.
Many a time I've given someone a DVD with only the 1st 25 episodes hoping they wouldn't notice the (to be continued) message.
This and the fact the whole thing was I know, that you know, that I know, that you know. Oh and what I never got was how Near managed to get hold of that lock box with the death note in it, and managed to replicate the thing in one night. Anyone here seen Sword of the Stranger? I know the Animation is supposed to be amazing, just wondering if the plot is any good and isn't like Redline.
Stopped watching Death Note early on because that girl was a shit character. Might pick it up sometime. Watching Serial Lain Experiments at the moment, just finished Beck - pretty sweet.
There was one Anime that I had gotten into before I moved to Florida called Mushi-Shi, that was on Comcast's On Demand for awhile. It had a very interesting story line, and I loved the effects in it. It's been about a year since I last saw it, but after a few episodes I was hooked, waiting for another episode to appear On Demand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mushishi
Additional series I'd recommend are Elfen Lied, Gunslinger Girl, Code Geass and Noein. I really wanted to like Ergo Proxy but it was just too dark and slow.
ALL HAIL, BRITANNIA. English in anime by Japanese voice actors is the lamest thing ever, Beck's english is actually fucking hilarious. I plan on watching Mushishi, Gunslinger and Ergo Prox all sometime over the holidays.
Speaking of Beck, there should be an anime that's actually about Beck. Right? Right? Oh never mind. It'd probably be funny to see any attempts at dubbing his lyrics though.
