This may seem like a stupid thread but alot of people used to say how they like the second half of The Catalyst over the first. So my question is which section of Blackout do you like?

    01. The intro, rapping and screaming dance like section.

    02. The glitched up screaming dubstep like section.

    03. The soft singing electronic section.

By far the first part. It has my head bobbing every time I play it. But the rest of the song is still great.

Mike's part is amazing. The singing, lyrics, and instrumentation definitely bring this song up from the bottom of this album for me. If the entire song would have sounded like this, it would have been tough to top. Even for Iridescent.

I like all three parts equally, some days I like the first part better or sometimes I constantly have the glitched part stuck in my head lol. I like the bit at the end when Mike and Chester both sing "come dowwwnnnn" etc.

There's a lot of people who dislike Chester's rapping but I love it. It's really punchy and catchy.

The vox is fine. It's what's underneath Chester's parts during the first section that irk me.

First part is cool, I didn't like it at first but it grew on me and now I do.

Second part is FUCKING AWESOME, it always pumps me up.

Third part I don't really care for...

I for one love the synths in the first part. It's almost like some kind of message saying "we can do whatever the fuck we want with our songs."

    1 + 2 match perfectly.
3, seems a little off for me.

    1 + 2 should be separate from 3.

3 is the best in my opinion. Awesome electronic instrumental, thudding techno beat, incredible singing.

Depends on my day and my mood.
If I were to choose one now, 2 and 3.
Ugh, I wish I could say all three of them!

I like all three parts equally. They all seem to interconnect with each other someway. The first two connect by using the same lyrics, while the first and last one connect by using the same instrumentation at parts. It is definitely one of the most unique songs they have come out with to date.

I like the first because the screaming sounds weird with the dance beat which sounds weird with the chords that sound weird with synth that sounds like a game soundtrack.

If I had to choose I would say part 2, because ChesterĀ“s scream together with the electronic scratch thing reminds me of old days (Reanimation), but also part 3 because of its beautiful melody and singing.

Third, but it has to be listened to as a whole.
