Appearance: Short brownish/blackish hair, can be either wavy or straight depending on her time in the morning to get ready. Even though she is quite stylish, even for a hunter. She usually dresses in black, either in a black dress or a black top and black pants (usually three quarters). The only make up she really wears is black eyeliner and foundation.
Distinguishing Marks: There's a huge slash-like scar on her back, where her father attempted to murder her.

Strengths: She learned at a young age that she could control the movement of objects when fired up. She honed this ability over the years to move at will. Her looks can be a strength and a weakness, as many other hunters do laugh at her at first sight. And yet, most male demons find her attractive and is often found as a bait. She is also quick and agile.
Weaknesses: Her beauty attracts demons who think she's an easy target and she is often taken granted for by other hunters.

Personality: Indie was shy girl when she first became a hunter, but after years in the field, her personality has just exploded. If she doesn't like you, she'll tell you, and then ignore you for eternity. She will not be judged that she's a female hunter nor will she tolerate sexist remarks. She was born a leader, and rarely follows. She's quite the optimist in the times of darkness and she'll knock sense into you if you are the opposite. It's her way when it comes to hunts, or it's the highway.

History: Born in Manchester, she came from a middle class family that ran its own bakery. Her mother was Kiri and her father was Trent, two well known social birds in Manchester. At the age of four, she became a big sister to twin siblings, Bianca and Miriam, who then went on to be two very spoilt brats.
Trent Zyffert, was well known man, and a well known alcoholic who used to beat his wife, on a regular basis. This is when Indie found her ability to move objects. It was the one night, that Indie saw her father beating her mother, that got Indie fired up. The minute that Indie tried to stop her father from beating her mother, was the split second she was thrown back by him and hit her head on the pantry cupboard. She got so angry that he had hurt her and her mother, that she managed to pick up a fork and dawdle it in front of her father's eyes. Of course he begged mercy, and let her mother go.
A few blind years later, a divorce was filed and Trent was ordered to leave the house because he was a risk to himself, and to his family. She never saw her father for a years at end. In this time, of their seperation, Indie had honed her ability to control objects and was doing it will, rather out of anger.
Indie and her family moved to the States by now, and her mum was due to get remarried. Indie had just been accepted into a Yale University, for her law work, when her father turned up on their doorstep, armed with a knife. But that wasn't her father that was standing on the otherside of the doorstep, and even though it looked like him, Indie had a feeling that it was something else - but she still let him in.
It was only a matter of time before Indie started to blame herself for letting the demon into their house. It only took her leave to the kitchen to prepare tea and biscuits, to make everything seem so blurry. Those eyes she remembered them, the blood of her mother's across the floor, and how limp her stepdad's body seemed on the floor. Amen for the twins being at boarding school. She didn't remember much in that time frame, all that she got away with a massive scar on her back, and the sounds of her stepdad's shotgun being fired. Then things just started to get weirder, more and more of these black eyed demons were appearing and she soon found herself standing in front of her twin sister's headstones, with Indie holding a shotgun in her hands, sobbing.
Indie didn't know if demons had possessed them, or something else of lore had taken them, but she knew something out of this world was in play. She didn't go to Yale, afterall. Revenge never tasted so bittersweet and distasteful. She just wanted this world to be how it was before heaven collapsed.

It was 3 am, when Indie last looked. She had been sitting in her motel room, actually, she was sitting on the window sill, with a shotgun that she had stolen from a police officer earlier that day, cocked and everything. She thought about that stupid police officer that had pulled her up in the shopping mall, to try and chat her up. God she knew she was attractive but was she that hot that she attracted the wrong kind of men? Of course, her dazzling and sexual looks attracted not only the good bunch of people, but also demons, the worse bunch of creatures, in which that was unwanted attention most of the time.
She had been followed and there had been a note left on her motel bed that hadn't been made at all and was nothing but a mess of white sheets and flowery blankets. She didn't know who wrote as she couldn't really recognise the handwriting, but she knew someone was coming. There hadn't been the obvious signs as of lately, that a demon was in town and was trying to tell her politely to leave. No electrical storms, no weird crimes or deaths happening, it was a pretty normal small town. Until the past few hours that she had been staring out the window, with no lights on, not even the light projected off the television.
She had been seeing people, taking abnormal timed walks, like as if it was daylight. There was one couple, a mother and son couple, who looked like they had just come back from the shops, at 2 am in the morning.
She remembered thinking God, wish I was allowed to stay up until 2 am when I was eight. My bed time was 8.30.. That wasn't the only time.
There was another old man walking his barking Jack Russell. Like as if it was daylight.
Were these people going insane? Or was it just Indie? She didn't know, but if she didn't know better something wasn't right.
