I'm not sure but metaphorically the song is awesome, the beat is sick, and the choir is really dark and sad. I loved it but my vote went to SOTB.
That song isn't about that . . . Cigarettes is a song that has to do with the lies that a lot of rappers put out, to make them look better. Like with a lot of cigarette companies. A lot of people listen to the garbage as if they were addicted to it, kind of like people who smoke, who don't stop because of their addiction.
Yeah I wasn't sure what the message was. I was more asking then stating . Your interpretation sounds great! I never really dissected the song all that much so when I just heard the chorus I thought it was Mike defending him smoking haha. But it always confused me because I've never seen him smoke
It's just like a cigarette it's something that I smoke/ Laugh out loud I'm just kidding, get it, it's a joke/
I love the synth/bass in In Stereo. Turn that sh** up in a car and drive with your windows down = heeeall yeaaa.
So I have to be the one to save Cigarettes? raaar He didn't leave room for interpretation. He had a rather clear message.
Well I voted for Red To Black awhile ago. And 2 other people said Red To Black. Yet there are only 2 votes lol. Come on, people. Learn how to use polls. Not gonna matter anyways I guess.
Yeah, the poll closed yesterday, and the winner is Slip Out The Back! Thank you to the thirty that did vote
Yeah go SOTB! Anyway the introduction of my job interview was crazy. They couldn't remember the name and I was like are you serious right now? They looked petrified and I didn't get the job. I became homeless and wondered what it was like to feel like home. My friends asked "where'd you go", but I couldn't hear them because I was in the stereo department. I wish I was back home, damn I need a cigarette. Believe me, it feels like the world is trying to get me gone, but I could care less. I'm taking the high road with Kenji and changing my state of mind from red to black. The battle was hard but all I had to do was slip out the back to be somebody. There they go looking for me again, to bad they have to learn that's the hard way.
