Evolution EP [October 2010]

The cover art is nice.

 

H4WK, I listened to the previews, they're awesome.
01. Wake - I don't know how I should describe them. I quite like the way you mixed them.
02. Evolution - Not heard yet but from the demo, beginning from 0:30, the awesome part begins. The distorted drums effect was amazing.
03. Be Simple - That's pretty hip-hop at first, and the guitar seems to change all this. Actually this reminds me some pop music in our country. Pretty professional already.
04. Atmosphere - It's a good track, but the layering of the instruments seem to be a little complicated, around 0:20-0:30

I am actually printing my own copy of the album onto a CD, so that back cover will be awesome.
I am also going to print that poster, because once again its awesome.

How long does it take you guys to make a cover like that?

 

Cheers bro. Although I'll need to get a proper program for making the covers as the ones I printed off aren't the best.

 

That's awesome. You may need to find somebody/somewhere professional to print the disk or cover/back cover.

I am working with Chris (Topher5386) on real guitar for the track Atmosphere (it has acoustic guitar at the end). We might also add an interlude track with a guitar solo.

 

Did you use any sequenced sounds while making these?

 

HELLO MR. INTERLUDE

As a bridge between Be Simple and Atmosphere I've created an interlude track. Its adds 42 seconds to the albums length.

I was going to mix elements of both the songs, but to me it didn't fit.

 

I can make a sentence out of those titles.

Wake to an Evolution to Be Simple, so you take Flight to the Atmosphere.

 

Nice try Jay, the titles actually don't have a full meaning, they are just random titles. Preview in 5-6 hours.

 

30 second preview for a 42 second song? YES!

 

Ingenuous use of Acoustica Mixcraft samples - Atmosphere is my favorite so far just because of that intro sample haha. I've used it before, lol.
