Since July 15 we've known that members of Linkin Park, alongside actor Ken Jeong, filmed an episode of Carpool Karaoke for Apple Music. We knew this thanks to this Instagram post from the band:

Unfortunately, that was five days before Chester sadly passed away. With his death, the episode was put in limbo for his family to decide if it would be released or not.
Thankfully, today it was revealed that the episode will indeed be released and it will hit us in just about a week. The episode will be available for free on the bands Facebook page for everyone to watch.
What do you think? Are you excited to see this? Come and discuss in our forums.

Linkin Park have released a music video for their new single 'One More Light' off the album with the same name. The video is a beautiful look at Chester with footage from his life with Linkin Park. It's incredibly touching and heartbreaking. The music video is directed by Linkin Park band-mate Joe Hahn and Mark Fiore. Watch the video below:

“It has been incredibly emotional to work on this, and especially to watch it. I feel that by doing it, we not only faced some of our biggest fears, but it enabled us to use our talents to bring some light to people that need it. As we move forward to the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people that connect with the band, outside and inside our circle. This video is a gesture of good will to the people that want that connection.” - JOE HAHN

“One More Light was written with the intention of sending love to those who lost someone. We now find ourselves on the receiving end. In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated towards this song as their declaration of love and support for the band and the memory of our dear friend, Chester. We are so very grateful and can’t wait to see you again.” - MIKE SHINODA

This is the first video to be directed by Joe Hahn since 'Until It's Gone' in 2014 whilst Mark Fiore directed 'Talking to Myself' which was released off 'One More Light' back in July.

Let us know what you think of the 'One More Light' music video on the forums.

It appears Linkin Park will be releasing the title track 'One More Light' as a single going by a listing that has appeared on a website that is known for showing upcoming singles and tracks impacting radio. AllAccess.com has been used many times in the past to show when a new track from the band will be a single and 'One More Light' has been listed for an October 3rd release.

The song 'One More Light' first gained traction after the band performed the song live on Jimmy Kimmel Live following the death of Chris Cornell back on May 18th 2017. The song has always held a special emotional connection and now we feel that more than ever following the death of Chester Bennington in July. The song has always made perfect sense for a single and releasing it feels like a fitting way to honor Chester's legacy with Linkin Park.
