Just activated my account!!!(3-19-04)

    Hey I am a newbee and I was wondering if I can get some tips from the more experienced.
    :mike: :brad: :phoenix: :joe: :rob: :chaz: (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)
    i.e., how do I get those cool band icons at the bottom of my message?
    and how do I get a cool icon under my username?

    hey welcome to the boards! just read the rules and ask around. I would tell you how to get an avatar (the colour things under people's names and a signature but i suck at instrutions. ) but remember to close your tags so the colour of your font shows up ;)

    Welcome! Like the people above have said, make sure you read the rules and Kat's guide, they're important.

    Other then that, have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions. And have some virtual skittles! :) *passes out virtual skittles*

    hi and welcome to the LPA, read the rules and have fun. If you want a sig or avatar you gotta go to "my controls" around the top of the page and on the side there should be something that says edit signature and edit avatar.

    Welcome to the LPA. :)

    To put an avatar(the image) under your handle(username), goto My Controls >> Edit Avatar Settings >> Browse(search for the image you want, and click it.) >> "Add this avatar to my profile"

    To put a signature under your post, goto My Controls >> Edit Signature >> "(img)"link to the image you want"(/img)". (Instead of putting the "(" and ")" you have to put the "[" and the "]", but it won't let me do the correct way in the post.




    Also make sure to close your tags when your finished posting.
    Ex. "[/tag here]" or click "Close all Tags" by the color drop down box.

    Never mind I got the avatar down. I plan on getting the soldier tatooed on my lower back in 4 years (when i am 18)
