amy lee
for pop, christina aguilera rules them all, theres so much different styles on her new album, but for the rock chick, amy lee by far
Im on signature strike
Amy Lee ROCKS
Amy Lee, she has a great voice.
Christina Aguilera has turned from a great singer singing passionate music to a great singer singing manufactured music and acting like a black wannabe....She has lost all my respect...
Out of that list though I would have to say Amy Lee...great voice, great music and she lacks that manufactured pop-star/punk look. In other words, she's herself....
If today is all we see
Then tomorrow seems to me
Is just an illusion we believe
You forgot Deborah Harry!!!!! I mean, come on....Blondie!
That said, I voted for Brody Dalle because she's a great songwriter, even if Amy and Christina have better voices...
Lyndie is back. Oh my.
Christina for the pop, her lyrics mean something.. though some of her or not written by herself
Britney Spears sucks with lyrics, i mean.. Boyz talalala Boys talalala :wth:
and then, Amy Lee rocks for the rockgreat voice

Formerly known as Chris.
Amy Lee. Best singer, she writes her own amazing music, great band surrounding her, she's original, great choreographical dancer too. ()
Although I agree with Will.
Neither is Brody.Originally posted by Will@Jan 16 2004, 02:55 PM
This poll is really bad because Amy Lee is not a solo artist.![]()
I'll vote for her anyway.

"People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain."

Madonna. I mean, don't attack me or anything, but she paved the way for many female artists in my opinion.
Cher paved the way, IMO.Originally posted by LornVourkolakas@Jan 16 2004, 05:15 PM

Ah yes, Cher is another I think that has paved the way. But nowadays you don't hear much about Cher. And I never saw a interview with a female artist who said that Cher was their inspiration. Madonna, on the other hand, Britney admits to looking up to her and that sort.
Sorry to be a little off topic but I remember they showed a video of Cher in front of a bunch of little kids and they all said shes a witch lol. They had a funny look on their face... Yeah....![]()
Cher was big in the 70s. Honestly, how many of the big pop superdivas or whatever were alive in the 70s?Originally posted by LornVourkolakas@Jan 16 2004, 05:19 PM

Yes, that's right, a big fat 0. Of course Britney looks up to Madonna. She grew up in the 80s. Only big name pop star I can think of that would look up to Cher is maybe like, Anatasia or whatever the hell her name is.

Cher was cool though. I'm not much into her music. But there was one song I really liked. The one with her in a leopard jacket or something. It goes "You don't impress me much" That one was cool. B) It'd be cool if Cher comes out with a new album.. and sell more than Britney. Mwuahahah ! >![]()
Or even born in the 70s.
