HELP !!

    i downloaded a live in texas font a .zip file, i unzipped it, but i dont know how to use it on my programmes, can any1 help, cos ive never done it before

    yeah you unzip to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

    then you should be able to use it in all programmes you want...

    Unzip it to wherever. Then just cut and paste the font file into your fonts folder. It should then show up as one of your fonts.

    i tryied unzippin it to c:\windows\fonts and it showed up in the font files, but when i went to use it in word or any other programme it just didnt appear in the font lists

    thats prob cos the font name that u unzipped isnt the same as the font name. u will jus have to look 4 it in word or a dtp program. its not hard u jus have to remember what it looks like

    Here's what you have to do:

    Step 1 - Unzip to the desktop

    2 - Hilight the file, and right click, CUT. (ctrl + x also works)

    3 - Open c:\windows\fonts and right click and goto PASTE

    That should clear everything up. The thing with fonts is that when you cut and paste it, it installs it, it doesn't just simply move it. When you unzip, you're just putting the file in there w/o installing.

    Hey no problem. This is what I do, I sit in front of my computer all day playing w/stuff. I love helping people with computer related issues.
