i'm guessing this website doesn't originate from US, since every1 says rumours not rumors. But what is a thread? :wth:
    LPA originates from the US/UK.

A thread is what you are posting in. It's also called a topic.

Is this right: It takes 1000 posts to become an LPA moderater?

You can't just become a moderater. You may be talking about becoming a Super Member, though, to be one of them you need to achieve 3,000 posts.

LPA Moderator : Closes, moves & edits topics, warns members. This is kinda like a referee

LPA Team : They work on the website, and have also some powers on the forums (I think, I'm not sure)

LPA Supermember : Has more than 3000 posts.

Please correct me if it's not ok.

BTW, how close are the VIPs to LP?
no sig 'till i find a host

A moderator is someone who does the typical MOD work. They can close, move, edit other people's posts, delete posts...anything like that.

LPA Team is a step above a MOD. Along with being moderators, we also work on the actual website content.

An LPA SuperMember is a regular member who has exceeded 3,000 posts.

V.I.P. doesn't mean they know Linkin Park. It's just someone who has contributed a lot to this website.

    3000 for SuperMember.

The others will be awarded to you by the LPA Staff when/if you somehow do what those positions require.

you cant, direct linkin isn't allowed and might get you a warning.

right click the picture, click "save picture as..." and save it onto your computer's hard drive. open an account on iownjoo.com or imagevillage.com and upload the song to your personal webspace.
    Code:
    [img]linktopicturehere.com[/img]
in your signature settings under "my controls".

*waves* Hi, I'm new here! Anyway, a Google search on "definition "an ep" extended play" brings up the following link:

    http://lists.musicbrainz.org/pipermail/mus...ust/003456.html

    Which says:

EP is a tricky one. There are a couple of definitions I go by. The most
    > > definitive relates back to vinyl records (remember those?), where an EP
    > > was a 45 rpm record with more than 2 tracks, typically in 7 inch format,
    > > typically with 4 tracks, and those tracks were typically on a related

    > > another album (ie: Nine Inch Nails "The Perfect Drug" would fit into this
    > > catergory, so would "Broken"). It's a bit of a grey definition though.

    > definition?:
    >
    > "An EP is an Extended Play release and often contains the letters EP in
    > the title."

"Better, except that it will have people asking "What is an Extended Play
release?". I think it's need to be decided what shall be treated as an EP for
the purposes of this database, with a note that it is a grey area of
definition, and there may be exceptions to the rule. My second definition
above (which I nabbed from some audiophile website some time ago, can't find
the source) might be a good starting place, and maybe give some examples of
what does and doesn't classify as EP, and detail some exceptions too. I think
the essential element of defining an EP is that it's a short album release,
distinct from a single (which in some cases will be longer, with all the
remixes and so forth). And then there are the exceptions (Curve's "Missing
Link EP", which I think should rightly be listed as a "Promo Single" and not
    an EP)."

It comes from the Hybrid Theory EP. It's the hidden track of the CD. In my opinion, it's a good song .

it shouldn't be a problem if you read the rules and follow them!

welcoem to the forums, I'm Mark. feel free to pm me with any questions and have a great time posting!

And to repeat what Avenger said, the secret track on the Hybrid Theory EP is called "Ambient". Basically, Part of Me is 16 minutes long on the HTEP, 3 mins of PoM, 11 minutes of silence and 2 mins of "Ambient". You need the EP to hear the song. And it's awesome. Probably LP's best instrumental.

I can't really tell who sings the part "takes me one step closer to the edge, and i'm about to break"...is it Mike or Chester? i know on the live shows, and the One step closer video, it's Mike... but you can never really tell. Mike doesn't usually scream like that ( on their recorded tracks )
( in the numb video Mike mouths Chester's "i'm tired of being what you want me to be" )
i know this doesn't seem TOO important, i'm just sooo curious.
I know quite well WHO Grey Daze is!

Mike does sing "i'm tired of being what you want me to be" on "Numb". If you listen intently, that's actually him singing. It's awesome.

As for OSC, same deal. Mike screams that in the recorded version.
