    For a long time, I kind of thought it might be about Jeff Blue (notice how his name basically disappeared from the fold in about 2002?), but seeing as David Kahne was a naysayer about the band according to Mike, who knows.

    I don't actually recall their being Linkin Park Day. I've only heard of the anniversaries for the release date of albums. Maybe I am wrong.

    This is probably stupid question but, how can someone who is a member just a few months have 1000+ posts? i get it if they post like 100 times a day but otherwise it's a bit of a mystery to me.

    Actually not quite as difficult as it seems . I've been here since I opened the site 9 years ago, and I've gathered 31 thousand posts. It seems like a lot at first glance, but that's really only about 3500 posts a year, or 9.5 posts a day. Which isn't much at all. There's people here who post 20-30 times a day, and those are the people like Jeff who have about 11k in posts despite registering in 2010. Pretty much, if you post just 100 times a month, in 10 months you'll have a 1000 posts easily.

    The people who have a ton of posts, achieved that by replying to game threads (Random Chat), posting in Random Thoughts, and participating in as many threads as possible (in all the subforums). You don't even have to spam or post 1-2 word replies to get there either...just by posting regularly in a lot of threads your post count will see a noticeable difference . And of course you're always welcome to make a new thread if you'd like to spur conversation on a topic you don't see currently being discussed. You definitely can reach over a thousand, if you make it a goal!
