Linkin Park have been announced as headliners for a new festival called Rock im Sektor. The one-day annual event will debut in Düsseldorf, Germany at Esprit Arena on September 5 later this year. Other headlining performers on the bill include German acts Kraftklub and Broilers, as explained in this press release via PRWeb: Fans who might attend this festival will also be happy to note that among the other acts in the relatively short lineup is Mike Shinoda's solo hip-hop outfit Fort Minor! As revealed in this tweet, Shinoda will be bringing his acclaimed one-man live show to a festival setting for the first time, and will obviously be pulling double-duty by performing a set with Linkin Park later in the same day. Both acts have been together on festival line-ups before, a notable instance being Japan's Summer Sonic festival in 2006. He's right, though. And I also don't have the money, like last year for the Cologne performance... Would be so cool to see LP and FM at once. They are probably just coming to Germany that often to soak up all the money.
