Linkin Park first set foot in China in 2007 as part of the Minutes to Midnight tour cycle for a single performance in Shanghai. The band was also set to play shows in the country as part of their 2008 Music for Relief: Asia tour, however, due to a back injury and Chester being under doctors orders to heal said injury, the band had to cancel that whole five date tour along with a standalone date in Las Vegas, which was scheduled to happen before the Music For Relief: Asia tour. Linkin Park returned to Shanghai and Macau in 2009 to make up two of the missed 2008 dates. During their last concert in Shanghai, the band were put under heavy restrictions, forcing them to remove Given Up and Hands Held High from the setlist. One of the songs from Minutes To Midnight that the band were not forced to remove was No More Sorrow, as you can see below.

No More Sorrow's live intro always gives me the chills.

Linkin Park sat down for a press conference for Shanghai and in it, they talk about having music as a career, having fans all around the world and of course, new music. Check out the video below to see for yourself.

If you aren't following Mike Shinoda on Snapchat(MikeShinodaLive), you missed that whole music making session on the plane.

After this show, the band heads over to Chongqing on the 24th and then they travel to Bejing on the 26th for their final stop on the China leg of The Hunting Party Tour. The show in Bejing will also be broadcasted live on the internet.

Are you going to this show? Do you think the band will switch things up in the setlist? Come and discuss in our forums
