As he promised to, Mike Shinoda is steadily announcing more Fort Minor live shows: two shows for Europe have just been announced via this post on linkinpark.com. The first one will be on August 26 at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen, Denmark and the second one on September 2 at Kesselhaus in Berlin, Germany. Based on the recent Fort Minor show in Los Angeles, fans can expect to experience an intimate "one-man show" with Shinoda using a software-based DJ setup to deliver an array of fan-favourites from both Fort Minor and Linkin Park's back-catalogs. Members of the Linkin Park Underground will be able to take advantage of an exclusive pre-sale for tickets on Tuesday, July 7 at 10 AM local time; general sale will begin two days later on Thursday, July 9 at 10 AM local time. Further information regarding the pre-sale can be found at linkinpark.com/presale. Source: linkinpark.com
I'm wondering if the setlist might evolve, but the first one in LA was still pretty cool and I wouldn't be disappointed by it if I attended a show with that sequence. I'd really like for Shinoda to deliver his solo v. of "Wretches" and/or the "Skin To Bone" rmx. And "I Have Not Begun", I guess, 'cause the fans would love that one
I think the set will be a lot similar to the LA show. I doubt he'll add anything new immediately, and it's probably best to warm up first.
I REALLY hope one of these shows are proshot or streamed. I really need to hear Devil's Drop, Until it Breaks, WFTE/HandsHeldHigh, The High Road, and Believe Me in a good audio quality. Mike sounded really good, so I need it.. lol
Denmark is interesting, glad to see Mike taking FM to new places, though! Fingers crossed for a US Tour too, it'd be great to finally get to see FM live!
Same for me. (I live on the other side of the country ^^) I'd love to see Fort Minor, but well... Let's hope there will be a stream or at least some great quality videos.
At least it's in the same country for you, I have to take a 5 hour train ride ... both ways. 10 hours of travel for a 1 hour show.
I actually think it's pretty genius to sprinkle some FM shows in-between LP shows (which is basically what's happening here). Hope he does this if LP does another tour in the states.
You guys who are thinking of going can bid for a pair of tickets, as well as the opportunity to meet the Mike Shinoda of Fort Minor, on Charitybuzz.
