Thought I might start sharing some of my more experimental concept tracks. This started out as an experiment with frequency modulation synthesis, but it turned into a cool little track. Haven't decided whether to polish it up or just keep it as ammo for future projects. This one's a little out there, but that drop hits like a damn freight train. I may re-record some of the guitars in drop A instead of standard tuning and work in some palm mutes to let the synth bass through a little more. I really like way the build up at 2:17 came out. I'm playing a tapped solo over some palm muted chords while slowly riding the whammy pedal up in sync with the typical rising synths / filters you hear a lot.
