LPA Monthly Mix Up: May 2015 Winners

First and foremost, on behalf of the entire LPA team, I would like to formally apologize to everyone for the delay in reporting our winners for May's Monthly Mix-Up remix competition. That being said, the month of May brought a MMU competition suggested by Erica, the first time we've drawn an idea for a theme from our MMU Suggestion Thread. We challenged our talented remix community to take a short, 2 minutes or less, track and turn it into a whole new beast. Out of all the eligible entries that were submitted, we had a challenge to pick our favorites. Before the winners are announced, we want to remind you that if you submit an entry, always include the provided graphic into the artwork. If the graphic is not included your submission will not be eligible to enter the competition and therefore will be forfeited. With that being said, the May 2015 Two Minute Warning winners are:

Decay and Zak: Wake Up

Rounding off at almost eight minutes long, Decay and Zak implore you to take a dream-like journey through space and time. Seemingly fading in and out of conscious, Wake Up draws you in and leaves your imagination running. Using parts and pieces from the tracks Ntr/mission, Opening, THE RADIANCE, TINFOIL, EMPTY SPACES and WISDOM, JUSTICE AND LOVE, This track keeps your attention by having you on the edge waiting to see what comes next. Cypher and Xefuzion Wisdom, Justice and Love (Xefuzion X Cypher Remix)

Last month, Xefuzion and Cypher took the interlude WISDOM JUSICE & LOVE and completely reworked it into this absolutely stunning version featuring great piano work, synth that mirrors the original track and an absolutely kicking beat that will keep your head busy knocking to the beat. Definitely worth a listen!

Congratulations to all the winners for last month's MMU. With a whirlwind of activity, along with a lack of entries, the MMU will be going on a temporary hiatus for now. Fear not though, big things are happening. Until next time, stay tuned.
