That aside, I finished watching the show at 6AM Sunday morning and I'm extremely satisfied. It's not perfect but it's enthralling television, regardless of it being a part of the MCU. It's just well done as a whole.

    LOL I apologize, Minus.
Ah, I feel stupid now. But yeah, that would totally be perfect if they set his son as the new Owl.

I remember the Hand now! I could see that happening.

So I just saw the decapitation by car door scene online.

That was the most disturbing scene I've seen in years. :puke:

So I have seen a few episodes and I do have some nitpicks:
    - Charlie Cox really doesn't act like a blind guy most of the time.
    - Daredevil needs to be more intimidating(this will probably be solved with later episodes)
    - His backstory is kind of derivative and unsurprising(and yes I know it's based on source material)

So far I like it but not really feeling the hype yet.
The action is pretty awesome through.

You're only three episodes in man.... All of your "complaints" except for the backstory are addressed later in the season. Kingpin isn't even majorly introduced until episode 4.

Yeah but most people pretty much said: "Holy Shit" or "I love it" after the first episode and I was just like: "That was decent".
3 episodes is around 25% of the first season when you think about it, so I think it's fair to have some complains.
    Everything is overrated

I was extremely hooked after episode 2. If by episode 4 you still feel the same way, then the show isn't for you.

Just finished the 4th episode. Jesus. Hard to believe this is Marvel with how brutal it's been. If only everything they do could be like this.

I don't think AKA Jessica Jones will be anywhere near as brutal as Daredevil or even Luke Cage or Iron Fist. She's a private investigator. Sure, she's got a superhero past, but that doesn't mean anything. I can see Jessica Jones being more like Agent Carter.

Alias was under the MAX label right, which is for more adult themes correct? There are more ways to be dark/gritty than super heroes beating up bad guys.

    Spoilers

Like being controlled by the Purple man and being used as a sex toy. Also Jessica Jones is known for being a bad mouth chain smoking, reckless kind of gal. I personally think that seedy cases and those kind themes are much darker than typical low level fighter such as Daredevil. And if Marvel does everything right, and I have no reason to believe they won't, they show will showcase that.

I meant insofar as the violence is concerned. I can't see AKA Jessica Jones being anywhere near as violent as Daredevil.

I hope it's not like Agent Carter. That show was a waste of time.

Just finished episode 7. This series is fucking amazing. Definitely a big step above Agents of Shield which is already really great right now.

I think the biggest problem with Agent Carter was that they took eight episodes to tell a story that should've been told in one episode. I expected a lot more out of it.

Anyway, I found a video that lists out the various easter eggs in Daredevil. He's got most of the ones I was able to find, including a couple I missed.

Just finished the season and I'm quite impressed. Definitely on board for season 2. I found all these other superhero based tv shows to be poorly produced and goofy but this didn't feel that way. Sure there are things I could nitpick about but overall it was really solid. Love how they were willing to kill off characters and keep the story unpredictable.

Btw is the suit in the finale the final version? Or are they going to upgrade it to a new one next season?

I'm in ep 6 and that single take-shot is incredible. And as a Chinese dude, I understand most of the words of Madame Gao, and Wesley's translations sometimes leave much to be desired.

Random takeaway: when Karen is trying to work an old copier, Foggy says "Be nice to it. You know, for when the machines take over." *ahem*Ultron*ahem*

This is one of the best superhero related dramas I've watched ever. The fact they managed to get so much "right" about this show is commendable.

    Yep. I feel the same.

Shows like Smallsville and Gotham are forever ruined for me.

or how in one episode a guy says "Maybe if he had an iron suit or magic hammer, that'd explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you."
