Anyway, I'll definitely be catching the Illinois show. We'll see if Chester truly is ready to kick ass on stage again. This is a nice break he is taking to let his vocals rest as well.
Can't wait! I was going to go last STP tour but I was busy I'm going to go to the Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. Hopefully chester will be attending with a full healthy body!
They are coming to Washington but while I am still in college at Arizona. I wish they were coming to Arizona.
gonna make the effort to go to the Chicago one. i got time and im super nearby it cuz residing in the city for school. all i need left is some dough.
Lol, so if I'm not mistaken, its telling me $140 for a main floor ticket to the Chicago show. That's a bit much....
Yeah that's weird. Especially when they're basically still getting fans used to the idea of an STP without Scott. I mean, granted I think Chester sounds better live than Scott ever did (sorry, not sorry) but try telling the Scott loyalists that.
Woah woah woah it was $140 a ticket for STP in Chicago? I got my ticket for $36(but then you gotta add the $8 fee) so it was $44 total. Then I said what the hell and bought a early entry pass for $10
Only on certain songs. I think Chester struggles a lot on songs from Core. Dead and Bloated doesn't sound great. Plush sounds very good, though. I think Trippin' and Sex & Violence are the two he does best. Edit: I also feel Scott had much more stage presence than Chester, or most singers for that matter.
