This past Friday (01/09/2015), AltWire.net, along with several other online and print publications, were invited to take part in a telephone press conference featuring Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, Rise Against’s Tim McIllrath and Of Mice and Men’s Austin Carlisle to promote Linkin Park’s upcoming The Hunting Party Tour, which kicks off in Orlando, FL later this week. AltWire has taken the liberty of providing the full transcript for your reading pleasure. Check it out here. Note: If sharing on a blog or other fansite, due to the immense amount of time put into preparing the article, the writing staff at AltWire must kindly request that you please link to the article only instead of posting the full transcript elsewhere. Thanks!
They already have complete control... you believe in the LINKIN PARK system don't you? Hardly any of us is willing to work with one another without the LINKIN PARK system, therefore we are obedient to what they want us to do because they own the banks and the big business and the government. LINKIN PARK is not to be feared, nor is IT to be feared, believe me, there is a reason they are in control, because we are all not in control of ourselves. Either you serve LINKIN PARK or what do you serve? Read between the lines and be careful... ▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲/s
Lol, I just edited the article. There used to be a lot of 'you knows' and I got rid of a lot of them to help make the answers read better. So anyone who's read it before, read again.
Man, that question about war sadly just went right above Chester's head. All the answers were so philoshopical Also, I felt Chester and Tim got fairly enough questions(that one with Chester praising Tim and Tim praising Chester was little corny) the poor guy from Of Mice and Men got like one question and that was about LP too.
I think it was more the fact that all journalists were told to keep it to one question and ONE PERSON ONLY, and not so much it went over Chester's head. A lot of them attempted to break the rules and squeeze two questions in or talk to more than one band member (which always seems to happen) and it took up a lot of time.
Ohh Chester Great Interview, also i feel a bit sorry for Austin. But it seems that the guys are ready for the The Hunting Party Tour. Chetser and Tim prais themself a bit too much in my opinion, but thats cool Some interesting questions, but noones i would ask. Well, therefore i need possible a Meet And Greet with the band on the next tour
